聯(lián)合國可持續(xù)發(fā)展目標中非常重要的一項就是性別平等，而南南合作在幫助發(fā)展中國家推進性別平等上，扮演重要角色。作為中國非官方的外交與國際關系智庫，察哈爾學會歷來關注南南合作、中非關系及中國與周邊亞洲國家的關系。察哈爾學會攜手聯(lián)合國婦女署、北京大學燕京學堂舉辦本次論壇，旨在探討如何通過南南合作來幫助發(fā)展中國家的農(nóng)村婦女脫離貧困、提高生活水平，同時，也將探討中國在這些國家的投資如何使得當?shù)貗D女受益。

—Background—

South-South cooperation plays a significant role to strengthen the cooperation among developing countries for the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals, including gender equality. As a non-governmental think tank on diplomacy and international relations, the Charhar Institute has always been focusing on south-south cooperation, China-Africa Relations and the relationship among China and its Asian neighbors. This forum, being held by the Charhar Institute, UN Women and Yenching Academy of Peking University, aims to discuss how to reduce poverty and improve the living conditions of rural women in developing countries via South-South collaboration and how China’s investments can benefit local women in those countries.
